This event was possible because of the generosity of the business that gave prizes and/or cash so that we can show our appreciation to veterans and their families. See the full list at the bottom of the page. And of course, we couldn’t have done it without Kampersville Campground and Operation Church, Inc.!
Patrick won the beautiful shadow box with the American Flag and Bald Eagle. Eric won the 10.25 inch Lodge cast iron pan. Gordon won the gallon of maple syrup (yes, Vermont maple syrup). Bridjette also won a gallon of Vt Maple Syrup. Todd won the DieHard socket set and Ashley won the large Yeti cup. Leon won Radiant RL2 rechargeable camping light and Aaron won a box of 15 Top Flite XL golf balls. Ricky won a box of Dakin Farm Vermont Fudge & a small Yeti cup. Thomas won a bowling package for 6 from Spare Time Bowling. Brian won a $50 gift card to Vermont Pub and Brewery. All veterans also received a gift bag including coffee from Vermont Coffee, Darn Tough Socks, Catamount Dental toothbrushes, paste & floss and other gift cards.

Five Star Sanctuary partnered with Operation Church to offer this opportunity to get together with other veterans and their families at Kampersville Campground next to Lake Dunmore.
A few details...
Participation is limited to veterans, active military, National Guard, and their families. Military person must be present for family to be eligible to participate. Complete application, supporting documents (DD-214 or ID card for active military), and signed Waiver of Liability form are required (see below to download application). Space is limited.
The site will be paid for by Five Star Sanctuary / Operation Church.
